A search is underway for a man who went missing on a bike trip from B.C.’s Interior to Vancouver Island.
RCMP say 45-year-old Sean David Kuntz was cycling from Smithers to Saanich to visit his mother.
He left Smithers on his bicycle on June 9 and contacted his mother June 13 saying he was somewhere between Quesnel and Williams Lake.
RCMP have released a picture of Kuntz riding his bike east of Houston on June 10.
It’s believed he was sleeping on the highway between his days on the road.
His family says they’re very concerned for his well-being and are asking anyone with information to call police.
