Cloudy with cooler temperatures in Ottawa on Wednesday

Following a couple of days with highs above 20 C, Ottawa will see a cooler day.

Environment Canada’s weather forecast for the capital calls for a high of 12 C on Wednesday, about six degrees cooler than average for this time of year.

Tuesday saw a high of 22 C, after a high of 21 C on Monday.

The forecast includes a 60 per cent chance of showers in the morning.

Expect a mainly cloudy evening with a low of 3 C overnight, which is about 4 degrees below normal.

Thursday’s forecast is sunny to start, with more clouds in the afternoon bringing a small chance of showers. The high is 14 C.

Friday’s outlook has a mix of sun and clouds and a 60 per cent chance of showers with a high of 13 C.
