More snow is in the forecast for all of Vancouver Island, according to Environment Canada.
A special weather statement says a cold and “unsettled airmass” has formed over the South Coast and will remain in place into early next week.
Scattered flurries are possible throughout the day Saturday.
More widespread snow is expected to develop on the south island and over the Lower Mainland by Saturday night, which could result in snowfall accumulations of a few centimetres.
Temperatures should return to near seasonal highs by mid-week.
