After a recent period of above-seasonal warmth and overnight rain, cooler air is coming to London, Ont. CTV meteorologist Gary Archibald says to expect a significant temperature swing over the next few days. The Environment Canada forecast predicts a mix of sun and cloud with a daytime high of approximately 18C on Friday. Overnight, temperatures will drop to around 9-11C. The recent band of rain is sliding south and east, making way for clearer conditions and cooler northerly air. Friday night, a ridge of high pressure will bring clear skies, offering a beautiful starry night. Winds will be calm or light from the north. Saturday will start cool, with temperatures around 5C at 8 a.m., accompanied by light winds from the north-northeast. The day is forecast to be mostly sunny, with a projected daytime high of 18C. Looking ahead to the weekend and early next week for the London area, expect fluctuating temperatures and a mix of fair weather and showers. Lows will be in the single digits, potentially dipping near freezing by Tuesday and Wednesday across much of Southern Ontario.
