Waterloo Regional Police released security footage of an armed robbery at a Cambridge convenience store in hopes the public can help identify a suspect. The robbery happened July 26 around 10:20 p.m. near Eagle Street North and Concession Road. In the video, a suspect wearing a black motorcycle helmet, a black face covering, a black shirt and jeans walks into the store. “I have a gun. Give me all the money out of the till right now,” the man says in the video. The clerk hands over cash, and the suspect flees. No one was injured. The suspect was last seen around 10:30 p.m. heading south on Concession Road on a motorcycle. Police want to identify and speak with the person in the video. Investigators are also asking residents in the Lang’s Farm neighbourhood, along Eagle Street North between Concession Road and Industrial Road, to check home surveillance footage between 10:10 p.m. and 10:45 p.m. on July 26 for sightings of the suspect on the motorcycle. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
