A 60-year-old Kitchener man has died after an e-scooter collision involving a pedestrian. Waterloo Regional Police said emergency services responded to reports of an injured e-scooter rider on Home Watson Boulevard near Pioneer Drive at about 8 p.m. on Oct. 14. Investigators determined the man made contact with a pedestrian while operating the e-scooter, then fell and suffered serious injuries. He was taken to an out-of-region hospital, where he died on Oct. 18. Police said the pedestrian was not physically injured. Further details about the circumstances of the collision have not been released.
