It was a chilly and foggy start to November and we may see some fog patches redevelop Tuesday morning after a day of melting snow Monday. Sunshine and temperatures a handful of degrees above 0 C this afternoon should put a good dent in the snow cover. I think the snow’s mostly (if not completely) gone by mid-week. A warm airmass settles in over the province and we’ll see daytime highs in the 5 C to 10 C range all week. Morning lows are projected to be just two or three degrees below 0 C. The warm spell looks like it’ll last right through to the middle of next week and possibly through to the end of next week. LONG RANGE modelling indicates a potential flip to some colder temperatures starting mid-November. But... the first half of the month should be packed with above-average days.
