Dogs and dogs owners across Waterloo Region and beyond made their way to Kitchener’s Kiwanis Park to take part in the annual Dash & Splash. The yearly event is held by the Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo & Stratford Perth. Dog owners around the community can start their own fundraising campaigns leading up to the event, with proceeds going to the humane society, and highest fundraisers winning prizes at the event. The event $20 admission fee per dog also goes to those animals most in need. For the first time this year, adoptable dogs currently under the care of the humane society got the chance to enjoy Kiwanis Park days before the community event.
