Mounties are trying to determine how a man died after his body was found in Langford Friday morning.
Police were called around 6:45 a.m. after a jogger stumbled upon the human remains on a trail off of Whitehorn Place.
BC Ambulance was called to the scene and confirmed the man in his early 30s was dead.
Police say there are no apparent signs of the cause of death.
“We’re not suspecting any foul play at this time, but due to the nature of the death and the location we’re taking all the precautionary measures to make sure we’re not leaving any elements behind,” Const. Alex Berube said.
Mounties are not releasing the man’s identity until next of kin are notified.
