Hundreds of people on Vancouver Island woke up without power Sunday morning caused by heavy snowfall over the past two days.
More than 1,800 BC hydro customers were affected by the outages as of 10:30 a.m.
Snow also led to trees and power lines coming down in Qualicum Beach.
