Update: Victoria Police confirm a 19-year-old male suspect has been identified in the break-in thanks to a number of tips from the public. He's facing charges of mischief, break and enter and breach of court-ordered conditions.

Original story: Police are investigating a bizarre break-in at a popular children’s petting zoo in Victoria that was caught on surveillance cameras.

It started Monday morning, when the owners of Beacon Hill Children’s Farm arrived to find several animal pens flooded.

When they pored over surveillance footage they saw a man breaking into the zoo at around 9 p.m.

In the video, a shirtless man can be seen digging through the lost and found and trying on several hats.

At one point he even puts a child’s soother in his mouth.

The man seen in the footage is believed to have flooded the pens of the farm’s famed goats. Owners say the animals are all okay.

Police say they’re looking for a white man in his 20s with a slim build and curly brown hair.

He appeared to have been wearing a pair of blue jeans and a dark baseball cap.

He also appears to have a small, cross-style tattoo on his right upper arm.

Victoria Police are asking anyone with information to call them at 604-995-7654 or Crime Stoppers at 1-877-222-8477.
