Four weeks after a fire broke out at a historic Victoria brewpub, the pub’s restaurant has reopened for business.
The Nov. 23 blaze at Spinnakers Gasto Brewpub, which is Canada’s oldest, erupted from a second-floor fireplace.
Guests and staff quickly evacuated the building and no one was injured.
Spinnakers’ pub was reopened after just nine days, and on Wednesday, the dining room reopened as well.
The pub said in a release that its kitchen and dining room would be debuting a “fresh new look.”
“We will back to resume the lunch that was cut short on what we now call: Black Wednesday,” it said.
Doors opened at 8 a.m. for breakfast until noon, lunch starting at 11 a.m. and dinner starting at 5 p.m.
