Road in Innisfil closed due to downed hydro wire

South Simcoe police say a portion of a major road in Innisfil is closed.

20^th Sideroad between 7^th Line and Innisfil Beach Road is blocked Monday morning by police cruisers.

Police say it’s due to a downed hydro wire.

They say crews have been dispatched and ask drivers and pedestrians to avoid the area.

No word on how long the closure is expected.
