York Regional Police are asking for help identifying suspects of a robbery in East Gwillimbury. Police say on Aug. 19, around 1 a.m., officers responded to a call of a commercial robbery in the area of Woodbine Avenue and Davis Drive. According to YRP, two suspects entered a business in the area and demanded cash. Police say one of the suspects sprayed an employee with an unknown irritant, before the duo ran off with an undisclosed quantity of cash. Police describe one of the suspects as a white man with a thin build, wearing a black and white Oakland Raiders hooded sweatshirt, a mask and red and black shoes. The second suspect is described by police as a white man with a medium build wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a multicoloured logo on the front, blue jeans, white socks and black sandals. The employee, who suffered minor injuries, was treated on scene police say. The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact YRP or Crime Stoppers.
