For residents of Barrie, an umbrella may be good to have on hand on Monday, but not quite necessary. Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) says residents can expect a mix of sun and cloud from early morning into the afternoon, with an up to 40 per cent change of precipitation. After 3 p.m., ECCC says conditions will clear up as residents can expect sunny and clear skies for the rest of the day, until sunset. Barrie’s daytime high is an estimated 18 C, and the overnight low is estimated to get down to 9 C. At its highest, the UV index will get up to six, ECCC says. Residents are also warned of potential fog patches into the evening and overnight hours.
