Two kittens were allegedly thrown from a moving vehicle in Lyndale, P.E.I., on Sunday, according to the RCMP. Officers responded to a report of the animals being thrown from a red SUV with a grey roof rack on Route 24 around 11 a.m. Another vehicle struck one of the kittens, which died. The other kitten was recovered and has since been adopted. “This is a disturbing and shocking incident,” said Cpl. Gavin Moore, media relations officer with the RCMP, in a news release. “Animals are vulnerable and depend on people for their care and protection.
