It’s Day 26 of the Quebec election campaign, and many of the leaders are starting their week on the Island of Montreal. Voters head to the polls on Oct. 5. Follow along for the latest updates: Day 26 Here is where the party leaders are planning to start their day, in order of first appearance: Éric Duhaime (Quebec Conservative Party) Conservative Leader Éric Duhaime is expected to hold a press conference on an undisclosed topic at 7:30 a.m. outside the Maison de Radio-Canada in Montreal. He is then slated to hold another press conference at 3 p.m. at a different venue in Montreal. Christine Fréchette (Coalition Avenir Québec) CAQ Leader Christine Fréchette is expected to visit the Cabico factory in Coaticook at 9 a.m., followed by a press conference. Charles Milliard (Quebec Liberal Party) Liberal Leader Charles Milliard is set to begin his day with a visit to the Paccar factory in Sainte-Thérèse at 9 a.m., followed by a press scrum. At 7 p.m., he will attend a party rally at the Sheraton Hotel in Laval. Paul St-Pierre Plamondon (Parti Québécois) PQ Leader Paul St-Pierre Plamondon is slated to be on the Island of Montreal for a meeting at Agora Déclic at 9:30 a.m., with several candidates, and a press scrum at 10:10 a.m. At 1:30 p.m., he will hold a press briefing on the Eastern Development Project at the Honoré-Beaugrand Metro station alongside several candidates.
