A portion of Highway 17 in Sidney was shut down on Monday due to a vehicle fire that later spread to the grass.
A van fully engulfed in fire near Triangle RV just north of Beacon Ave around 3 p.m.
Southbound lanes of the Pat Bay were shut down for more than an hour.

The fire also spread to the grass on the side of the highway.
No one was injured in the fire and a cause has not been determined.
