A baby was among four people who escaped with minor injuries after a head-on crash in Sooke Thursday.
Police say it appears to have happened when an SUV crossed the centre line of Sooke Road at around 12:30 p.m.
It plowed into another vehicle head-on, crumpling the front ends of both cars.
Three adults and a baby in a car seat were all taken by ambulance to Victoria General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
Investigators are looking into whether the driver of the red SUV may have been suffering a medical issue at the time.
It is unclear whether any charges will be recommended.
The incident shut down traffic both ways on Sooke Road near Woodlands Road while crews cleaned up the mess.
