Temperatures across Manitoba continue to land below seasonal normals on Thursday though conditions are a lot calmer than we’ve seen in the last couple days. Southern Manitoba should expect mostly cloudy skies and light winds out of the west this afternoon with temperatures in the low single-digits. There is a chance of fog patches developing overnight with temperatures falling below the freezing mark. However, there’s lot of sunshine on the way Friday throughout the south with temperatures ranging from 5 to 7 C. The warmup will continue into the weekend with highs in the low teens on Saturday under mainly sunny skies. A cold front moving in from the arctic will bring a band of light snow through parts of northern Manitoba including Thompson, Churchill, and The Pas. There’s a good chance those flurries will continue into Thursday night, but a mix of sun and cloud combined with mild temperatures are on the tap for Friday.
