Three people have been charged after two were injuried in an incident in Blenheim. In the evening on Aug. 28, the Chatham-Kent Police Service was called to a fight near William Street North and Sunset Drive. A weapon was reportedly pulled and used and a person was hit by a vehicle. The CKPS said a 24-year-old Blenheim man drove a vehicle that hit a 23-year-old Blenheim man near the intersection. The weapon used was determined to be a BB gun. A second victim, a 21-year-old Blenheim woman, was also allegedly hit after running to the scene to help. Both victims were taken to hospital and have since been discharged. A BB gun, magazines, and pellets were seized. An 18-year-old man, a 24-year-old man, and 27-year-old man, all of Blenheim, have been charged with weapons and assault-related charges.
