Registration for the second annual WYCked Run/Walk 5k is now open. It is in support of the Windsor Youth Centre, taking place on Oct. 24 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. along the riverfront. All funds raised will go towards giving local kids in need a safe place, warm meals, and vital programming. The trek will begin and end at the Great Canadian Flag at Ouellette Avenue and Riverside Drive. Participants can choose from: Participants are encouraged to dress in Halloween costumes and fundraise ahead of the event. Custom finisher medals, pins, best costume awards, live entertainment, and dynamic cheer sections will also be included in the fun.
