Windsor has hired the Invasive Phragmites Control Centre to apply herbicide at Ojibway Prairie Complex next month. If weather allows, control measures will take place Sept. 2 to Sept. 30. Application will be along the authorized trail system and within the natural areas at Ojibway Park. Temporary signs will be posted to identify where herbicide is applied. Trails will stay open, but visitors are asked to stay on the trails. More information is available by contacting the city naturalist at ojibway@citywindsor.ca.
