One of two men accused of killing a Calgary woman and dumping her body outside the city has pleaded guilty. Steven Aaron Zwick, of Airdrie, and Paul Joseph Rushton, of Calgary, are both charged in the death of 29-year-old Chelsea Davidenas, whose body was found northeast of Carseland in April 2024. Police alleged Davidenas was lured to a home in the 5600 block of Rundlehorn Drive N.E. in the early morning hours of Feb. 17 by two men she knew. Investigators believe she was then killed inside the home. On Monday, Zwick pleaded guilty to second-degree murder. He admitted to restraining and choking Davidenas, then dumping her body a few days later. Rushton is scheduled to appear in court in January 2027.
