The Windsor Police Service has released crash information so far this year. Banwell Road and E.C. Row Expressway have recorded the highest number of crashes to date. So far this year, the WPS has recorded more than 5,500 crashes in Windsor and Amherstburg, with 910 that had reported injuries. That marks a 45.8 per cent increase compared to 2025. Nine people have died in these collisions, four of which have been in the past 11 days. The top five intersections with the highest crash numbers are: Drivers are reminded to stay alert, obey speed limits, avoid distractions, and allow enough time to react to changing traffic conditions.
