A man has been hospitalized after a targeted shooting in Port Moody on Saturday afternoon, police said. Port Moody police said officers were called to Barnet Highway and Union Street at around 2:40 p.m. with reports of a shooting. A man was found in the area with a gunshot wound and brought to hospital for treatment. Police didn’t find a suspect at the scene, but mentioned witnesses saw a silver sedan fleeing the area. The victim remains hospitalized in stable condition, police added. Anyone with any information or dash camera video related to the shooting has been asked to report it to Port Moody police.
