A man is in life-threatening condition after a stabbing in Mississauga on Sunday afternoon. Peel police say it happened in the area of Main Street and Dundas Street East, east of Dixie Road, shortly after 5:30 p.m. Peel paramedics tell CP24 life-saving measures were performed before the man was transported to the hospital. Images from the scene show police putting a man in handcuffs. Police say a suspect was taken into custody. No word on charges being laid. The circumstances that led to the stabbing are not immediately known. Police say there is no threat to public safety.
