For the fifth time this year a Saskatoon overpass has been struck by an oversized vehicle. As of 2:10 p.m., Saskatoon police are at the scene of a collision at Idylwyld Drive and 51st Street, after a semi-truck towing a trailer and grain bin hit the overpass. It happened in the southbound lane when the bin struck the overpass and was dislodged from the trailer. In its update, police say the bin is wedged, blocking the merge lane westbound from 51st Street. Motorists are asked to avoid the area and find alternate routes.
