A man has been charged in connection with a woman’s death in southern New Brunswick last week. The RCMP says it received a request for a wellness check on Wellington Road in Blacks Harbour just before 2 a.m. on July 17. Police found a woman’s body inside the home. She has since been identified as 45-year-old Patricia Honeywell. Jordan Blanchard, 29, appeared in Saint John provincial court later that day and was charged with aggravated assault. Blanchard returned to court on Friday and was charged with second-degree murder. He was remanded into custody and is scheduled to return to court on Aug. 21.
