A Saskatchewan man faces several drug and weapons charges following a recent bust in Lloydminster. On Sept. 9, Saskatchewan RCMP’s Lloydminster Saskatchewan Trafficking and Response Team (STRT) executed a search warrant at a home in the community. Officers seized about 41 grams of cocaine, 19 grams of methamphetamine, two guns, ammunition and drug trafficking paraphernalia. A 49-year-old man from Lloydminster has been charged with several offences, including possession for the purpose of trafficking. He’s scheduled to appear in Lloydminster Provincial Court on Nov. 5. RCMP’s National Weapons Enforcement Support Team (NWEST) took part in the investigation.
