A man is facing charges after driving his vehicle through the patio of a Saskatoon restaurant Saturday. Around 8:30 p.m. police were called to The Flats Eatery + Drink in the 1800 block of McOrmond Drive. Officers arrived to find a vehicle inside the patio, up against the building. No one on the patio or in the restaurant was hurt. Police determined the driver was impaired and found an empty bottle of alcohol in his vehicle. The 44-year-old man, who refused to comply with impairment testing, was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. He now faces a charge of refusing to comply with a demand.
