Dandy’s Artisan Ice Cream is officially saying goodbye to Regina. The company announced Sunday that it had completely sold out of all the ice cream it had and would be closing its doors. “While it’s bittersweet to say goodbye, we couldn’t have imagined a more incredible way to end this chapter,” the company said in a Facebook post. “To everyone who waited in long lines, lined up outside before we even opened, came to see us during blizzards, spent your holidays with us, celebrated special occasions with our ice cream, and supported us throughout the years, THANK YOU.” In August, after more than seven years in business, the ice cream company announced its closure in September. The local ice cream shop had two locations in the city and prided itself on using local ingredients. Many Regina residents rushed to get a final scoop during the company’s last weekend, eventually resulting in all of its items selling out.
