Clear skies, sunshine return to Ottawa as weekend comes to a close

After a hazy few days in Ottawa, Environment Canada says it will be a bright and sunny Sunday to wind down the weekend.

The organization’s forecast predicts clear skies and a high of 23 C with a humidex of 26.

While the air quality index reached a 9 on Saturday, which is considered high risk, the air quality index is only expected to reach a 3 on Sunday, which is considered low risk.

Overnight, the temperature will drop to 13 C.

On Monday, expect a mainly sunny day with temperatures reaching 27 C.

Environment Canada predicts a chance of showers on Tuesday with a high of 25 C.

On Wednesday, expect more showers and 21 C.
