21-year-old man dies, two others injured following Hwy. 401 rollover near Cornwall, Ont.: OPP

Ontario Provincial Police say one person died and two others were taken to the hospital following a single-vehicle collision near Cornwall, Ont. on Sunday.

OPP Sgt. Erin Cranton says at approximately 3:30 a.m., emergency crews responded to a report of a vehicle rolling over into the center median of Highway 401 between Boundary Road and County Road 27.

The driver, a 21-year-old man from Clarence-Rockland, was pronounced dead at the scene. Two passengers suffered minor injuries and were transported to the hospital.

The highway was closed in both directions following the crash, but has since reopened.
