Man, 63, dies after drowning in Lake Muskoka: OPP

A 63-year-old man from Markham has died after allegedly falling overboard in Muskoka.

Police say on Saturday afternoon at around 4:30 on Lake Muskoka near Walker’s Point, they responded to a report of a boater who had fallen into the water and never came back up.

The OPP says its Underwater Search and Recovery Unit later found the man and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are asking anyone who may have information to contact them as the investigation continues.
