A motorcyclist is dead after a serious crash in Courtenay on Tuesday.
The crash involving a motorcycle and transit bus happened around 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of Ryan Road and Cowichan Avenue.
The bike could be seen on the side of the road and the bus window was shattered.
Paramedics performed CPR on the motorcycle rider on scene.
As of 6:30 p.m. the road was still closed to traffic.
