Police in Timmins say they are on the scene of a homicide investigation on Friday morning. Residents should expect to see a large police presence in the Balsam/Cedar Street North area “due to an ongoing homicide investigation,” police said in a July 31 news release. “The Timmins police (are) asking that persons stay clear of the area until further notice,” the release said. No other details have been released, but police said an update would be available later Friday.
