One person was killed and another injured in a collision late Wednesday in Whitestone Township, located just northeast of Parry Sound. Ontario Provincial Police said the single-vehicle crash took place around 10 p.m. on Clear Lake Road in the community. “The investigation is ongoing with the assistance of the OPP traffic incident management enforcement team,” police said in a news release Aug. 20. “Clear Lake Road is closed to facilitate removal of the vehicle. Further information will be provided when available.”
