Here are the Montreal-area road closures for this weekend: Aug. 14 - 16

Commuters in and around Montreal should be aware that certain roads will be closed for construction.

Planning trips in advance is advised.

• LISTEN to CJAD 800 for traffic updates every 15 minutes

Jean-Lesage Highway (A-20)

• From Friday at 11 p.m. to Monday at 5 a.m., the Jean-Lesage Highway (A-20) east will be closed between Exit 95 (Montarville Boulevard) and the next service road in Boucherville.

Montarville Boulevard South

• From Friday at 10:30 p.m. to Monday at 5 a.m., de Montarville Boulevard South will be closed between Touraine Road and the Highway 20 West service road.

Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine Tunnel (A-25)

Southbound

• From Friday at 11 p.m. to Saturday at 8 a.m., the tunnel will be closed between Exit 5 (Sherbrooke Street) in Montreal and Route-132 in Longueuil.
• As such, the Sherbrooke Street, Tellier Street and des Futailles Street access points will close 30 minutes before.

Northbound

• From Friday at 11 p.m. to Saturday at 8 a.m., the tunnel will be closed between Exit 90 (R-132) on Highway 20 West in Longueuil and the access from Yves-Prévost Boulevard on Highway 25 North in Montreal.
• As such, the Route-132 east and west service roads (Exit 89-N) will close 30 minutes before.
• In addition, access from Île-Charron Street will be closed.

Souligny Avenue East

• From Friday at 10.30 p.m. to Saturday at 8 a.m., Souligny Avenue eastbound will be closed between Dickson Street and Honoré-Beaugrand Street.

Honoré-Mercier Bridge (R-138)

• From Saturday at 3 a.m. to Monday at 5 a.m., on the Honoré-Mercier Bridge between Montreal and Kahnawake, after the westbound contraflow section, the right-hand lane will be closed.

Des Bois Avenue/Montée Champagne (R-148)

• From Friday at 8 p.m. to Sunday at 6 p.m., on Route 148 (des Bois Avenue) heading east, the right-turn lane will be closed at the junction with Montée Champagne.
• Heading west, the left-turn lane will be closed at the same junction.

Victoria Bridge (R-112)

• Until Thursday, Sept. 10, the eastern span of the Victoria Bridge (Samuel-De Champlain Bridge side) will be closed.

Traffic will be restricted to a single lane on the western span of the bridge (Jacques-Cartier Bridge side), according to the following schedule:

• Towards Montreal: Between midnight and midday.
• Towards the South Shore: Between midday and midnight.

Félix-Leclerc Highway (A-40)

• In the Saint-Cuthbert area, one lane will be open in each direction on Highway 40 between Montée Saint-Laurent in Saint-Barthélemy and Route-138 in Saint-Cuthbert for an indefinite period.

Sir-Wilfrid-Laurier Boulevard (R-116)

• In Longueuil (Saint-Hubert borough), from Friday at 5 a.m. to Saturday at 4 p.m., the Sir-Wilfrid-Laurier Boulevard (R-116) east service road leading to Chambly Road will be closed.

Sud-Ouest borough (Montreal)

• From Friday at 9 p.m. to Sunday at 8 p.m., the intersection of Saint-Patrick and Bridge streets will be completely closed for Hydro-Quebec work.
• At the same time, Wellington Street will be closed in both directions at Bridge Street, with one lane remaining open heading south at Wellington Street.

REM

Scheduled work on the network will result in delayed service starts on Saturday and Sunday.

• First departures are at 7:30 a.m. between the Brossard and Deux-Montagnes stations.
• First departures are at 10 a.m. from the Bois-Franc and Anse-à-l’Orme stations.

Côte-de-Liesse (A-520)

• Until Nov. 11, the southbound Côte-de-Liesse Highway (A-520) service road will be closed from Roméo-Vachon Boulevard.

Work may be cancelled or modified in the event of adverse weather conditions or operational constraints.
