Saanich Police are hoping to identify a man accused of masturbating in front of a teenage girl Thursday morning as she waited for the bus.
The female student was waiting alone to take a BC Transit bus to school in the 400-block of Boleskine Road when the adult man approached her just after 8 a.m, police said.
He started speaking to her in a sexually charged manner, but the girl didn’t engage in conversation.
“At one point the male pulled down his pants, exposed his penis and began to masturbate directly in front of the female,” said Saanich Police spokesman Sgt. Steve Eassie.
The girl got up and left the bus stop to find help and the man was last seen walking toward Whittier Avenue, Eassie said.
He’s described as a white man between 35-45 years old, clean-shaved and was wearing a black undershirt, black jogging pants and a dark blue zip-up sweatshirt with the hood up.
Police are trying to track down the man and are also investigating whether he’s connected to any other incidents, Eassie said.
