Two people were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries following a collision involving a transport truck and an SUV in Zorra Township early Friday morning. Ontario Provincial Police, along with Oxford County fire and paramedic services, responded to reports of the two-vehicle crash on 19th Line, north of Road 96, at about 5:30 a.m. Police said the lone occupants of both vehicles were transported to hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening. The collision prompted the closure of 19th Line between Elginfield Road and Road 96 for several hours. The roadway has since reopened. The cause of the crash remains under investigation. No charges had been laid at this time.
