Oilers announce home theme games for 2026-27 season

The Edmonton Oilers unveiled their lineup of theme games for the upcoming season on Wednesday, a little more than a week before they’ll put single-game tickets on sale.

Among them are several cultural themes and advocacy causes.

• Home Opener: Sept. 29 vs. Vancouver
• Indigenous Celebration: Oct. 22 vs. Carolina
• Hockey Fights Cancer: Nov. 7 vs. Vancouver
• Remembrance Day: Nov. 11 vs. Philadelphia
• Oilers Next Gen: Jan. 9 vs. New York Islanders
• Ukrainian Heritage: Jan. 13 vs. San Jose
• Canadian Armed Forces Appreciation: Jan. 17 vs. Winnipeg
• Black Excellence: Feb. 3 vs. Vegas
• Lunar New Year: Feb. 12 vs. St. Louis
• Women In Sport: Feb. 22 vs. Ottawa
• Celebrating Pride: March 9 vs. Los Angeles
• Celebrating Oil Country: March 20 vs. Dallas
• Fan Appreciation: April 19 vs. Winnipeg

Single-game tickets to Oilers home games go on sale on Aug. 27 at 10 a.m.
