The weather pattern looks pretty steady through the first week of October. More sun than cloud, fairly light wind and afternoon highs in the mid to upper teens. A couple days have a chance to pop up to 20 C early next week. Morning lows will continue to hit the 0 to 5 C range with some patchy frost. But, now that we’re into October, frost advisories have been discontinued...so...you won’t see any more of those alerts being issued. In detail: sunny and a high near 15 C in Edmonton on Thursday with light wind. A few clouds will move through the area tonight and we’ll be partly cloudy for Friday with a high near 15 C again. The wind may pick up a bit Friday afternoon: 15 km/h gusting to 30 km/h. Sunshine and light wind for the weekend with another afternoon high in the mid teens Saturday. Sunday-Tuesday should all get to the upper teens (maybe 20 C) for afternoon highs. The pattern doesn’t really look like it’ll change until the end of next week.
