Two teens were arrested after multiple homes in Spruce Grove had the front doors kicked in. RCMP said on Tuesday that two “males” had been reported kicking in the front door of a house in Meadowpark Gate at about 10:45 p.m. on Sunday. Mounties said the pair caused “substantial structural damage” before leaving the area on electric scooters. A second similar complaint was made in the Deer Park area while officers were investigating the first, RCMP said, and a third home that had been targeted was later identified. RCMP said two teen boys, 15 and 16, were identified and arrested. Each faces three counts of mischief over $5,000. The boys, both Spruce Grove residents, were released to their parents and are scheduled to appear at the Alberta Court of Justice in St. Albert on Jan. 15.
