Two of the city’s top girls hockey teams faced off Saturday in their annual fundraising game supporting cancer research and awareness. The Edmonton Ice and Edmonton Ice White met in U15AA action at Bill Hunter Arena, one of several matchups between the teams this season. Aimee Skye, president of the Edmonton Female Hockey Alliance, said the teams designate one game each year as a fundraiser for Hockey Fights Cancer. The Edmonton Female Hockey Alliance began icing teams three years ago and has offered girls’ and women’s hockey from U7 to U22 since 2024. With files from CTV News Edmonton’s Darcy Seaton
