A man was taken to hospital on Saturday after his delivery van crashed into a stone wall.
It happened at Richmond Road and Haultain Street in Victoria around noon.
Police say the ‘Edible Arrangements’ vehicle was thrown in reverse and was seen driving erratically before hitting the wall.
The driver may have suffered a medical issue, police say.
“It’s pretty amazing actually that with the vehicles and the people that were in the area that no one else was injured,” said Victoria Police Const. Jenny Lequesne.
The driver’s condition is unknown at this time.
First responders were also sent on a bit of a chase after the driver’s dog ‘Tanner’ took off.
Police and paramedics scoured the neighbourhood, both fairly confident that they would eventually find the pooch.
