More details have been revealed for a new high-end marina that will open in Vic West this summer.
The Victoria International Marina is under construction in the outer harbour just south of the Songhees walkway.
Community Marine Concepts, the company building it, has unveiled new concept art showing what the marina look like when construction is complete.
The marina will cater to big boats 65 feet and over.
It will also have two floating buildings including a restaurant and an office building with retail space.
The marina will contain 28 boat slips, which will be a mix of long-term leases and short-term rentals.
Both the marina and the office building are expected to open to traffic by July, while the restaurant is slated to open sometime in the fall.
Construction on the $24-million project began last September.
