Environment Canada has cancelled a tornado warning for parts of southeastern Alberta to get indoors on Tuesday afternoon after issuing a tornado warning. The federal weather agency issued the red tornado warning at around 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday for the communities of Delia, Hanna, Starland County and Special Area No. 2. That advisory was later cancelled at about 8:15 p.m. In the event of a tornado, the advisory says people in those areas are urged to immediately take cover indoors and protect themselves from flying debris if stuck outside.
