RCMP are searching for human remains west of Calgary on Saturday.

RCMP and Cochrane Search and Rescue volunteers are searching for human remains Saturday.

Stoney Tribal administration said the search is taking place along Jacob Creek Road northwest of the community of Mini Thni.

The search focuses on the area between the road and a creek bed.

Authorities said it’s part of an ongoing investigation, but no further details were provided.
