Trail awareness ride takes place in Baxter

Members of the community gathered in Tay Township for the opening of the ATV trail season

With the nicer weather many are wiping off the dust on their ATV’s and preparing for the trails this year.

The Baxter ATV Trail Riders Club hosted a a trail awareness ride on May. 9.

The group left from the Georgian Bay Show Riders Club and several local ATV dealers will be set up along the trail and talk about their ‘Ride On’ rider safety programs.

The group traveled east on the GBSR rail trail towards the Baxter ATV Club House.

100 riders were pre registered for the event but organizers anticipate more than 400 riders could be present.
